Half of the local residents who left the region during the aggravation of the conflict have returned to Karabakh: Vahram Poghosyan

The Artsakh authorities see no reason to prepare for a new war after the signing of a trilateral agreement between Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, .

“There are definitely no such reasons now,” said the press secretary of the NKR President Vahram Poghosyan, answering the relevant question of journalists.

RIA Novosti reports.

He also said that by now half of the local residents who left the region during the aggravation of the conflict have returned to Artsakh.

“This means that people have trust. Trust is the most important thing,” Poghosyan said.

“Two to three thousand people return to their home towns and villages in Artsakh every day, but the lack of housing is a serious problem. Most of those who have not yet returned do not have their own homes, mainly from the regions occupied by by Azerbaijan,” he added.
