Independent MP Arman Babajanyan wrote on his Facebook page ․ “I recently noticed the name of the interim candidate for the post of Prime Minister of the “opposition” forces.

I have had an opportunity to talk about the first Prime Minister of Armenia Vazgen Manukyan. His person is connected with my meeting in the NSS isolator on the eve of October 27 last year, with Nairi Hunanyan, the leader of the terrorist act, which took place 20-year ago.

During the one-hour conversation, Nairi Hunanyan mentioned several key names. They are all alive, not coincidentally all in the “opposition” camp.

Vazgen Manukyan was in intensive contact with the leader of this terrorist group, Nairi Hunanyan, before the crime was committed.

Mentioning Vazgen Manukyan several times during the conversation, Nairi Hunanyan’s recording of the fact inspired by his meetings, just makes me convinced that Vazgen Manukyan played a significant role in shaping Nairi Hunanyan’s mood.

I suppose that at that time, for personal reasons, Vazgen Manukyan had planned a political vendetta; he considered Vazgen Sargsyan his main opponent.

The opposition candidate for prime minister is a person who did not play a secondary role in Nairi Hunanyan’s goal. I cannot say that Vazgen Manukyan directed Nairi Hunanyan to such a crime, but I am sure that he [Nairi]’s wishes were matured in some sense by Vazgen Manukyan, which ultimately led to the crime.

Other people also played a role in Nairi Hunanyan’s crime. I told all this to the NSS, although the meeting with the criminal took place in the presence of the director of the NSS isolator.”
