The first school in Stepanakert has resumed its work։ RIA News

The first secondary school in the capital of the Artsakh Republic, Stepanakert, has resumed the educational process, suspended due to the escalation of the conflict in Karabakh. RIA Novosti reported.

On 27 September, the local government decided to close schools and kindergartens.

“The work of the first school started today. Other schools will open in the future,” the city administration told reporters.

The event was also attended by representatives of the Russian peacekeeping mission, who donated a new TV set to the educational institution.

“This is the first school, our programs are big. We will promote the reopening of all schools in the city so that all pupils can sit at the desks. We dream and want this long-suffering land not to see events such as war. As long as the peacekeepers and Russia are with you, you will always succeed,” a representative of the peacekeeping mission command in Karabakh during the opening ceremony said.
