RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan asked his government supporters to stop the rally near the executive power building. As reported by “Armenpress”, Pashinyan promised during the meeting with the participants of the rally that he would not betray the people and, if necessary, would invite his supporters to the Republic Square.
“I know that there are tens of thousands of people in Armenia who will come to the square if necessary. I want to thank you. I bow to the guys who are at the forefront, I bow to all our victims, to our parents. Please stop and talk, but please stop the meeting. I promise, I will not betray the people, I promise, when there is a need, I will invite you all to the square,” Pashinyan said.
Supporters of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and executive power gathered near the government building. They express their support to the RA Prime Minister, noting that he should not resign from his post. Earlier, Prime Minister’s spokeswoman Mane Gheorgyan called for refraining from holding any rallies in support of the government.
At the moment, a rally of 16 opposition parties is being held in Freedom Square demanding the resignation of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
