Spokeswoman for the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anna Naghdalyan wrote on her Facebook page.

“At no stage of the peace process was there a question of handing over the city of Shushi.”

Shortly afterwards, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs mentioned as addition:

“Comment of the RA MFA Spokesperson on the issue of handing over the city of Shushi on the issue of being included in the peace process documents:

Question.  Today, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Shushi should have been handed over to Azerbaijan. How would you comment on how the issue of handing over the city of Shushi in Artsakh was discussed in the documents?

Answer. Let me make it clear that at some stage of the peace process there was no question of handing over the city of Shushi. As it was mentioned by the RA Prime Minister, that issue was not included in any document of the peace process.
