Our opportunities were exhausted by the April War of 2016: Nikol Pashinyan

There was no better option than the signed statement.

The Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this today, on 16 November, while answering the questions of the deputies in the National Assembly.

“There were negotiation packages, what is a negotiation package?” A piece of paper on which you can write even your best wishes. But which of those negotiation packages has been implemented? We are talking about reality or theoretical discussions. None was implemented. I said again, our biggest task is to extend the field of those theoretical discussions indefinitely; our opportunities have been exhausted by the April war of 2016, dear colleagues. Let’s record it. After April 2016, we had two actions: either to renounce our rights or to try to protect our rights,” Nikol Pashinyan said.

In his speech, he mentioned that they show a paper and say that there is nothing about Shushi in this paper. “There is nothing, that’s why that paper was not implemented, was that paper brought to life? There are so many papers, there is also the Kazan paper, was that paper called to life? Before that there was another paper, was it called to life? Which paper was sent to life? And why, why was it not called to life, can anyone explain? Didn’t they want to bring it to life? Didn’t they want to sign those good documents that existed, was there any conspiracy? No. When I am asked about the parameters, in what conditions it is possible, I answer, I am not saying that there was a piece of paper in which this or that was written. I say, this result could be ensured only in these conditions,” the Prime Minister said.

He mentioned that the problem is that they believed in the papers printed somewhere more than the realities.

The Prime Minister mentioned that he was not against the establishment of an investigation commission in connection with this war.
