Armenian actor of Soviet and Russian cinema, theater and television, theatrical pedagogue, theater director, People’s Artist of the USSR Armen Jigarkhanyan died at the age of 86.
RIA Novosti reported, citing representatives of the theater named after him.
“At nighte we received as sad notice. Prominent artist-leader, director of the theater named after him Armen Boris Jigarkhanyan has died,” the source said.
