“In reality, it may not seem very surprising, but that episode is not about handing over, but about keeping,” he said.

According to the Prime Minister, if that statement had not been signed, Stepanakert, Martuni, Askeran would have been captured, after which the other defense districts and thousands of soldiers would have been under siege and a complete collapse would have taken place.

“There is a lot of talk about the fall of Shushi, conspiracies around Shushi. I want to say that after the fall of Shushi, attempts were made to return Shushi twice, one completely failed, during the other a detachment managed to enter Shushi, and all the controversies in the media were connected with this,” Pashinyan said.
