RA Deputy Minister of Education and Science Arthur Martirosyan received Hasmik Minasyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Culture of the Artsakh Republic. Issues related to the organization of continuing education for students transferred from the Artsakh Republic due to the war situation were discussed during the meeting.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport reported.
A. Martirosyan touched upon the issue of violation of the right to education, which is currently being registered due to the Azerbaijani-Turkish-terrorist aggression against Artsakh and Armenia since 27 September, which targeted educational institutions along with other civilian infrastructures.
A. Martirosyan noted that the Ministry and the RA higher education institutions make every effort to ensure the continuity of education of Artsakh students, at the present stage highlighting the issues of ensuring the involvement of Artsakh students in the educational process and proper organization of the upcoming semester exams.
Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Artsakh Republic H. Minasyan, in her turn, presented the difficulties caused by the war and the epidemic that the Artsakh universities have in terms of establishing contact with their students, restarting the educational process, greatly using the support provided by the Armenian universities. Both sides agreed to work more efficiently to ensure a common approach to the existing problems, however taking an individual approach to the students’ problems.
