The preliminary discussion of the draft law of the Republic of Armenia “On the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2021” is being held in the National Assembly today, on 2 November.

“In the current situation, which is conditioned by the martial law, I think it is very possible to focus all our efforts on the discussion of the draft law on the state budget for 2021, as it should reflect the possible directions of achieving the goals set in the government program, sectoral policies, as well as the new challenges conditioned by the current situation. Of course, so far the draft has had a very certain logic, which came from sectoral strategies, government programs, had a certain balance, but, nevertheless, we have a new reality, we have something new to do so that the situation can be included in that balance,” the RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan said at the discussion.
