Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan addresses all compatriots with a video message ․

“Dear compatriots, brothers and sisters living in the Motherland and the Diaspora. I am addressing you with a special video message about the current situation and what we should do. ”

He particularly said:

“I want to address you with another important call.

The large-scale war unleashed on 27 September against the Armenian people of Artsakh by the international terrorism of Azerbaijan and Turkey continues. Meanwhile, the Defense Army continues to heroically resist, striking strong blows at the enemy, causing him enormous losses of human and military equipment.

During the battles, our compatriots from Armenia and the Diaspora showed their best. I would especially like to emphasize the participation of our comrades-in-arms who have made great contributions to the defense of the homeland, as well as our heroic young men.

We also see the active efforts of the Russian Federation and the international community to end hostilities, and we appreciate that mission. And you know, recently a tripartite meeting was held on the initiative of the President of Russia; a statement was made, at least in connection with the humanitarian ceasefire, to resume the talks in the future.

But what happened? The enemy, on the contrary, taking the opportunity, started fighting from the day after that announcement, almost along the entire front, especially in the southern direction. And the enemy managed to penetrate somewhere, to have advantages somewhere, and day by day to move the front to deeper areas. We understand that to force the enemy to a ceasefire, we have only one way – to impose a ceasefire. We are in favor of starting the responsibility for our humanitarian mission without preconditions, to continue the negotiations for a peaceful solution, although it is already impossible in a peaceful way. But it is not too late.

Although I mention again, the enemy has chosen another way. They chose not the way to solve the Karabakh problem, but first to annihilate the Armenians of Artsakh, and then, if successful, Armenia. We see that manuscript, especially the parties that are interested.

We had even more difficult times, in 92-94, when military operations were taking place on the outskirts of Gandzasar, Askeran, Martuni, Hadrut, etc. We managed to win because we believed in victory. Today we believe, today we believe that we will win. We must consolidate, we must unite, and most importantly, take part in hostilities. I expect the active participation of my brothers, Karabakh people living in the Diaspora, our brothers living in Armenia. Today is a crucial moment. To keep the homeland or not. To give up the right to live with honor instead of living with dishonor. We must continue to live with honor. That is why I call not only material, it is very important, thank you from everyone, but also physical participation. We need it.
