On October 8, RA President Armen Sarkissian signed a decree, which states:
“Based on the proposal of the Prime Minister, in accordance with Article 133, Part 1 of the Constitution, as well as Article 4.1, Part 1 of the Law on National Security Bodies.
To dismiss Argishti KYARAMYAN from the post of the director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia. “
Notably, by another decree, Mikael Hambardzumyan was appointed acting director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia.
