Spokeswoman for the RA Ministry of Defense Shushan Stepanyan issued a statement, which reads:

“The enemy used artillery in the direction of Shatvan village of Gegharkunik region of Armenia, as well as it fired a missile from the strike UAV at Mets Masrik settlement, as a result of which Gevorg Vardanyan, born in 1959, was killed and two civilians were injured.

The air defense forces destroyed three enemy UAVs in the region, including the drone that fired a missile at Mets Masrik settlement.”
