RA NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan made a statement, in which it is mentioned:

“Dear compatriots,

Early in the morning, the Azerbaijani authorities unleashed large-scale military operations along the border of the Artsakh part of our homeland, targeting even peaceful settlements with large-caliber weapons. The Armenian Armed Forces, as before, best perform the tasks set before them.

I want to reaffirm once again that Artsakh’s right to free self-determination cannot be a bargaining matter under any circumstances, even in the event of a threat of force.

The citizens of the Republic of Armenia and certainly all the Armenians stand behind Free Artsakh and are ready to carry out all, I emphasize, all the necessary actions in defense of a sovereign Artsakh.”
