Lusine Hakobyan, Coordinator of the Armenian National Platform of the EaP Civil Society Forum, President of the “Europe of Law Union” NGO, writes on her Facebook page.
“Dear deputies, if you do not understand what the vote for Khundkaryan, Shatiryan and Vagharshyan means for the future of the Constitutional Court and our state, then do not rush, take time and discuss these issues with the public, with concerned people.
But more importantly, know that the path of a principled person is always difficult, and there will always be situations when a person will fall under the influence of one or two manipulators who specialize in household tricks, which can persuade and force him to make wrong and unjust choices. And at that time you may think that it is easier not to fight, not to resist, not becoming a white crow. That’s right. The path of a principled person has always been and will be difficult. And there may be times when you are left alone with your truth, alienated from the so-called mainstream and rejected by it. But realize that your greatest asset today is the trust of the Armenian people, and in order not to lose it, it is worth crossing that part of your path proudly and alone. Time will tell that you were right, not those who convinced you otherwise.
So be sure to say no to those three.
