Secretary of the executive body of the “Citizen’s Decision” Social-Democratic Party, economist Suren Sahakyan writes on his Facebook page.
“I do not know the others well, but Khundkaryan becoming a judge of the Constitutional Court means a deep insult to anyone who participated in the revolutionary process with the expectation of a change in the judicial system. The mere fact that he and others like him are still serving as judges is already a problem.
Providing him a mandate by the National Assembly with such high legitimacy will give bright colors and shades to that problem, continuously leaving the contempt and rape of the previous system for constitutional justice.”
