The results of the voting for the election of judges of the Constitutional Court are known.
Vahagn Hovakimyan, the head of the counting committee, said that 88 out of 132 deputies of the National Assembly took part in the voting. As a result of the voting, 84 deputies voted for the candidate Yervand Khundkaryan, 2 against. 86 deputies voted for Arthur Vaghashyan, 1 deputy voted against, and 85 deputies voted for Edgar Shatryan, 3 deputies voted against.
All 3 were elected judges of the Constitutional Court.
Notably, the General Assembly of Judges nominated Yervand Khundkaryan, the President nominated Arthur Vaghashyan, and the Government nominated Edgar Shatryan. Opposition factions did not take part in the vote.
