“In addition to the statement issued by the RA Investigative Committee, we inform that 20 of the 36 servicemen who received bodily injuries as a result of attacks and shootings on Armenian military bases were hospitalized, received appropriate medical care, and the other 16 servicemen have minor injuries in the form of scratches.” According to Article 58, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Procedure Code, “The person is recognized as the injured, in respect to whom bases are available to suppose, that a moral, physical or proprietary damage has been caused to him/her directly by a deed forbidden by Criminal Code. A person also is recognized as aggrieved, to whom moral or physical damage might be directly caused, if the deed, forbidden by the Criminal Code would have been finished.”
“We consider it necessary to emphasize that the RA Investigative Committee and the RA Ministry of Defense provide different assessments to the same cases, taking into account the functions and peculiarities of the structures,” the explanation of the Investigative Committee reads.
