The briefing of Artsrun Hovhannisyan and Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan is taking place in Ijevan, at the Crisis Information Center.

Hovhannisyan referred to the transfer of the bodies of Azerbaijani soldiers in the territories of the Republic of Armenia, as well as to the statement of Azerbaijan that these are not Armenian territories, the bodies are in their territory.

“This was not the only area where the bodies of Azerbaijani soldiers remained. If those bodies were in their area, then why did they stay there for so long? Why did they need our permission to move the bodies?” he said.

Artsrun Hovhannisyan also referred to the statement of the head of the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan Vagif Dargyakhli on the rocket attack on the Metsamor nuclear power plant.

He once again noted that in the days of the border tensions that began on 12 July, Armenia had never announced the targeting of civilian infrastructure, including the Mingechaur Reservoir, nor had it targeted civilian targets. “I am very glad that our politicians, the diplomatic corps, the official raise this issue in the relevant bodies, because this will give rise to possible conclusions. This is a crime.”

Notably, earlier the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense Shushan Stepanyan published photos and video, where it was seen how the Azerbaijani side was evacuating the victims.
