The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia announces:

“Recently, the RA Ministry of Defense has been receiving thousands of calls and letters from individual citizens, as well as from certain groups and organizations of freedom fighters, asking them to volunteer and travel to border areas.

The Ministry of Defense expresses its deep gratitude to our citizens for their readiness to support the defense of the Homeland’s borders, nevertheless states that at this moment there is no need to volunteer for that core of patriots, freedom fighters and individual citizens ready to fight.

The Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia continues to confidently fulfill all the tasks set before it, to fully control the situation along the entire border, delivering a worthy counterattack to the enemy in case of any provocation.

In case of the need to volunteer, the Ministry of Defense will make a special statement.”
