Today, on 9 July, the Supreme Judicial Council published the decision on subjecting Judge Aleksander Azaryan to disciplinary responsibility.

The SJC rejected the motion submitted by the Minister of Justice.

After the announcement of the decision, the judge told reporters that any decision was expected for him. He also said that he could not provide any other details, as he only heard the final part of the decision. “I am not the head of the Special Investigation Service to give an assessment without being aware of the decision,” Aleksander Azaryan said.
