Today, President Armen Sarkissian met with architect Anahit Tarkhanyan.

During the meeting, the sides touched upon President Sarkissian’s initiative to create a “Hay Park” in the Tsitsernakaberd area and the opportunities to implement it. The parties stressed the importance of creating a park both for the preservation of national memory and pan-Armenian unity, as well as for the capital from an environmental point of view.
Architect Anahit Tarkhanyan, the daughter of co-author of the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Tsitsernakaberd, architect Arthur Tarkhanyan, expressed readiness to support the implementation of such an important idea within the scope of her profession.
