Lilit Stepanyan, a member of the “My Step” faction of the National Assembly, made a post on her Facebook page, which reads:

“Dear citizens, dear compatriots, I had a high fever on Sunday. Taking into account the work schedule, I decided to take a test so that I would not endanger anyone’s health when I left home. Last night they answered that the test was positive. My absence today is due to that. Since the morning I have been receiving many calls from colleagues, citizens, journalists and I would like to thank them for their attention, kind advice and positive emotions. Many people ask about the possible source of the infection, I can’t answer this question.

I use taxis, I was in the region last week, I met with children with special needs and their parents, I talked to the citizens. The scope of communication was great. But that doesn’t matter anymore. I hope I didn’t cause any health problems for anyone, even though I’ve been wearing a mask and gloves all the time.

Therefore, at this moment I cannot give a specific answer to that question, I think no one can. I ask  everyone to follow all the rules to avoid infection and be healthy. I don’t know where I made a mistake.

P.S. I don’t feel bad, I haven’t had a fever or pain since yesterday. I feel certain heaviness in my throat. Now I am self-isolated, my daughter is with her grandparents. By the way, special thanks to the Government, in the face of the Commandant, for their operative work, care and attention of the Ministries of Health and Emergency Situations.”
