Today, on 30 June, the National Assembly discusses the package of draft laws “On Making Amendments and Addenda to the Constitutional Law on the Constitutional Court”, “On Amending the Law on Ensuring the Activities, Service, and Social Guarantees of Official”.

MP Suren Grigoryan presented the draft.

“The order of nominating bodies for vacancies of judges of the Constitutional Court is being changed. The nominations will be made in the following order: the first nomination will be made by the Government, the second by the President of the Republic, and the third by the General Assembly of Judges. For the three vacancies in the Constitutional Court at the moment, those nominations will be made in the following order,” the MP said.
