They pulled me by the Hair, took me to the Police, Brutally beat me, I was one of them, 19 Years old: Ani Khachatryan

Ani Khachatryan, a member of the Yerevan Council of Elders, writes:

“I am sincerely glad that you do not even know the water cannon machine.”

The disproportionate use of force was on 12 April, 2004, when a water cannon, explosives and electric shocks were used, the office of the “Republic” Party was sealed, and the girls inside were pulled from their hair and taken to the police. I was brutally beaten in the police station, I was one of them, 19 years old, and spring froze in my eyes…

They used disproportionate force on 1 March, 2008, when we had 10 victims.

In 2015, in front of 26 Baghramyan Street, they dragged and mocked the mothers in clack dresses who demanded justice. Only justice, and not to their 18-20 year old sons.

After reading the above, can what happened in these two days be called the use of disproportionate force, or has THE POLICE ORGANIZED LEGAL ACTIVITIES, I think, the second?

PS I am glad that in the Republic of Armenia it is possible to be an opposition instead of a suicide bomber.”
