The police provided clarification on the incident near the National Security Building, which reads:
“Journalists covering the events near the National Security Service building on 16 June complained about the actions of the police.
The incident, which caused concern on the instructions of the police chief, will be investigated.
However, it should be reminded that the police always carry out urgent actions in the area of mass events in order to ensure public order. The responsible persons are always notified it the participants of the event about it, and urge journalists to take a position that does not interfere with the work of the police and their own work.
