The interrogation of the former chairman of the Control Chamber Ishkhan Zakaryan has ended in the NSS. His lawyer Gegham Hakobyan, told Iravaban.net about this , noting that the case is related to the accusation against PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan, related to electoral bribery.
“Mr. Zakaryan was released. He is already at home. The interrogation took place within the framework of the criminal case on electoral bribery,” Hakobyan said.
According to the lawyer, Zakaryan currently has only the status of a witness.
Earlier, Ishkhan Zakaryan’s house was searched, according to the lawyer, his weapons were confiscated. “All were legal.”
Notably, the NSS has been searching the private house of NA deputy Gagik Tsarukyan and his relatives since early morning.
Later, the National Security Service reported that a criminal case had been filed against “Onira” Club LLC and “Shangri-La” Casino, which had been presented as an investment of 61,146,139,340 billion drams, causing to the state damage of 29.750.000.000 AMD. According to the second statement, the National Security Service revealed that in another criminal case, hundreds of cases of bribery by the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) and involving PAP leadership as well were revealed.
