The National Security Service is conducting a search in the house of Gagik Tsarukyan, a member of the National Assembly and leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party.

MP Arman Abovyan noted that this contains a political context and there could be no second opinion․ “This is the result of our concerns.”

According to Naira Zohrabyan, all international organizations and embassies have already been informed.

Gevorg Petrosyan noted: “This is another dictatorship, because the leader of the political party is persecuted for expressing an opinion, there has no other name. We call on all international organizations to pay attention to this issue. Now let’s see what specific actions the law enforcement bodies are taking, we will give their legal assessment, and then the political assessment. But this is an obvious political persecution. I announced on the air that if anyone was arrested or detained after our speeches, he would be another political prisoner. If Nikol Pashinyan insisted that there are political prisoners in Armenia, now let him know that the real political prisoners are those who will be arrested now. ”

MP Naira Zohrabyan also mentioned that they are not afraid of being arrested or detained.
