Today, on 1 June, after the remote session of the Commandant’s Office, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made a briefing, which was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Commandant Tigran Avinyan and Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan.
The Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan mentioned that we had 210 newly registered cases on Sunday. Thus, the total number of cases reaches 9492․ “We have repeatedly stressed that if these epidemiological rates were maintained, we would have about 10,000 infected by the end of May, and those predictions were actually justified. Unfortunately, there were also 8 fatal cases, and the total number of deaths was 139,” the Minister said.
He informed that at the moment 440 citizens are in serious condition, 55 citizens are in extremely serious condition, 16 of which are connected to the artificial lung ventilation device.
