Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a regular sitting of the commission coordinating the work on preventing the spread of coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia.
After the sitting, the Prime Minister, Clinical Head of the Infectious Diseases Branch of Surb Astvatsamayr MC Hayk Antonyan and Director of Yerevan Polyclinic No. 13 Ruzanna Durgaryan held a press conference.
Pashinyan noted that although the number of confirmed cases decreased by 209 compared to the previous day, the epidemiological assessment does not change.
“During this period, we had such a decrease, when after 452 cases on 25 May, we had 289 cases on the next day, after which the cases started to increase again,” he said.
The Prime Minister also said that during this period the inspection bodies submitted a proposal to the Commandant’s Office to suspend the activities of about 87 organizations, which was satisfied.
Pashinyan also referred to the discussion of why members of the same family should wear masks while in the car.
