As of 30 May, 79 patients are being treated for coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital, 24 of whom are residents of Shirak region. 252 patients have been recovered from coronavirus and discharged and of which 174 are residents of the region.

26 patients are being treated in the capital. 9 cases of death were registered.
At present, 312 citizens in Shirak region have instructions for home self-isolation, 24 of them have a positive diagnosis with an asymptomatic course of the disease, their control is carried out by the primary health care system.
Since 1 March, 1942 sampling has been carried out in the regional centers of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention in the medical institutions of Shirak region.
