The Situation in the Country is quite difficult, we are dealing with the Second Wave of the Coronavirus.:Nikol Pashinyan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a regular a session of the commission coordinating the activities for preventing the spread of COVID-19 in the Republic of Armenia.

After the session, the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan and Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan made a statement.

Nikol Pashinyan particularly mentioned ․ “The situation in the country is quite difficult. We are dealing with the 2nd wave of the coronavirus. We have been examining the following question for several days. To what extent do the rules set by the Commandant’s Office correspond to the situation, and to what extent are they universal? The rules set by the Commandant’s Office are adequate to the situation, are effective in terms of content and we have to ensure them.”

He also mentioned that the administrative levers will be tightened, both in Yerevan and in the regions, raids have been launched to follow the rules.

Avinyan noted that everything is being done so that Armenia does not return to the quarantine regime.

Arsen Torosyan mentioned that at the moment there are 269 patients in serious condition, 51 extremely severe և 15 patients are on artificial respiration.
