On 20 May, the operative control center of the Yerevan City Police Department received an alarm about pickpocketing. The woman, who called the police, reported that at 2:20 p.m., at the intersection of Khorenatsi Street on Mashtots Avenue, she noticed that her cell phone had been stolen from her pocket.

Officers of the operative group of the police immediately approached the citizen.
Soon, the officers of the 6th Department of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Yerevan City Police Department found out that the robbery may have been committed by a 31-year-old man. He was found on Mashtots Avenue, was taken to the Central Police Department on suspicion and gave an explanation.
