The Municipality of Gyumri informs that the sister city of Xi’an, the People’s Republic of China, supports Gyumri and provided:

“Disposable medical masks – 20,000 pieces

Defensive clothing – 1000 pieces

Protective goggles – 100 pairs

Electronic thermometer – 50 pieces

Notably in February of this year, the community council made a decision to provide humanitarian aid to the sister city of Gyumri, Xi’an. Medical supplies were donated, including masks, gloves, coats, and shoe covers (20,000 coats, 14,230 masks, 10,000 gloves, 1,000 coats) and sent to Xi’an, People’s Republic of China. The mutual support came, for which we send our words of gratitude and thanks to the sister city of Gyumri, Xi’an. This is “a testament to the close ties and cooperation between the two cities.””
