According to Article 120, Part 2 of the RA Constitution and Article 48 of the Constitutional Law “Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia”, the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia convened a special sitting of the National Assembly on 14 May. The issue of extending the state of emergency declared on 16 March 2020 and making changes and additions to the decision N 298-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia of 16 March, 2020 were on the agenda.
According to RA Deputy Prime Minister, Commandant Tigran Avinyan, the Government proposes to extend the state of emergency declared in Armenia until 13 June, 2020, at 17:00.
