Hrachya Hakobyan, a member of the “My Step” faction of the National Assembly, issued a statement, which reads:

“Dear compatriots, as I suppose, many of you know that some users have recently been spreading false rumors on social networks that I have smuggled cigarettes to the Russian Federation. Once and again I want to emphasize and officially declare that the mentioned news is imaginary and has nothing to do with reality.

Therefore, I would like to inform you that in order to compensate the damage caused to my honor and dignity, I have filed a lawsuit in the Court of First Instance of Yerevan against Artur Robert Danielyan, Narek Bagrat Samsonyan, Gagik Levon Hambaryan and Marina Kolya Khachatryan, demanding that the latter for their arrogant and insulting expressions defamինգ honor and dignity honor must deny and apologize publicly.”
