On 11 May, one of the deputies of the National Assembly reported to the police that in connection with his work, on the same day on Baghramyan Avenue, an unknown person tried to hit him with a bicycle, after which he made threats and sexual insults.

The officers of the Arabkir Criminal Investigation and Community Police Departments clarified the identity of the person, who was found and detained in Hrazdan gorge on 12 May. A criminal case has been initiated on the incident on the grounds of violence against a government official. A 40-year-old man living in Etchmiadzin has been arrested. The criminal case was sent by the police to the Investigative Committee.
An investigation is underway.
The Prosecutor General’s Office reported that the citizen has been arrested.
