From 12  May, Coronavirus diagnostic PCR  tests will be carried out in Shirak region.

Shirak regional administration reported.

Starting 12 May, the Shirak branch of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention will conduct PCR diagnostics of coronavirus. Laboratory equipment is already in Gyumri.

Shirak Governor Tigran Petrosyan got acquainted with their launch and the beginning of work. The governor visited the center, monitored the work, got acquainted with the personnel potential, discussed issues related to the current situation with the staff, reviewed compliance with safety standards and the uninterrupted use of laboratory facilities.

Notably, from now on the region will be able to conduct an average of 60 PCR examinations per day.
