As a result of large scale investigative and judicial actions conducted during the investigation to the case on the charge of violence against Seda Safaryan’s daughter, son-in-law and their relatives, which were carried out in the scope of the criminal case under investigation of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district investigation department of the RA Investigative Committee, one of the two wanted persons was arrested presented to the body conducting the proceedings.

He was charged under Article 258, Part 3, Clauses 1 and 2 of the RA Criminal Code (hooliganism) and detention was chosen as a measure of restraint.
Earlier, we reported that on 24 April, 2020, at 10:30 pm, in the Mush district of Yerevan, the alleged perpetrators of a crime, in a brutal violation of public order, openly disrespecting the public, quarreled, made noise, and cursed Seda Safaryan’s daughter, son-in-law and their relatives.
The investigation is underway.
Measures are being taken to find out all the circumstances of the incident and the identity of the other person involved in the incident.
Note: A person that is suspected or accused of an alleged crime is considered innocent until his/her guilt is proved by a court judgment that has come into legal effect pursuant to the procedure determined by RA Criminal Procedure Code.
