Sasun Mikaelyan, a member of the “My Step” faction of the National Assembly and chairman of the Yerkrapah Voluntary Union, spoke about the incident between him and Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the “Bright Armenia” faction in the parliament on 8May.

But before that, Sasun Mikaelyan announced. “What Edmond called Allen from this tribune without shame, Edmond’s brother Eduard wrote about me. I will not contradict his words. Young man, your mother is sacred to me. But for your words, if you do not apologize, nothing good will happen to you. I highly advise you to apologize to my parents and Allen’s parents.”

Mikaelyan also warned that a public apology would be the best option for Marukyan’s brother, reminding him what structure he leads.

“And let him understand that the boys of that organization have saved thousands of mothers and sisters in Karabakh,” he said, urging his comrades-in-arms to refrain from interfering. I want both of them to understand and apologize to Allen and me, and that’s not Allen’s business if they don’t apologise.”

Edmon Marukyan referred not only to the speeches of Sasun Mikaelyan, but also to the speeches of Alen Simonyan and Lilit Makunts.
