Hakob Karapetyan, the spokesman for the Mayor of Yerevan, made a post on his Facebook page, which reads:

“Yerevan Municipality has started the process of returning the privatized lands of “Yeraz Park. The initiative belongs to the staff of Arabkir administrative district, which has found violations in the privatization of land plots of the park.

The materials of the investigation were sent to the Investigative Committee. On 27 April, a criminal case was initiated on the fact of violation of official power for mercenary or other personal motives, with obvious false information or notes in official documents.”
