“Arabkir” Medical Complex informs that as a COVID-service medical institution, there are no cases of infection of medical workers, everyone’s tests gave a negative answer and “Arabkir” returns to the planned mode of operation, strictly observing the anti-epidemic rules.
“Arabkir” medical complex reports.
According to the program of the Ministry of Health, the “Arabkir” Medical Complex has undertaken the medical care for the children complicated by COVID-19, as well as the cases of various diseases.
In order to organize the work, the complex is divided into three parts. The first is the part that serves COVID-infected patients, where medical workers worked for 1 month in a row, in two shifts, in isolated conditions.
The second part is the COVID-Department of Temporary Isolation of Suspicious and Contact Patients, where COVID-testing is performed. In this department, some of the medical workers were also in isolated conditions.
In the third part, patients who received a negative COVID test or were not initially considered COVID are receiving medical attention.
Fears that COVID-infected, contactable, and established patients will sooner or later become infected with the coronavirus have been allayed due to the impeccable work of the “Arabkir” MC team. All of our medical staff serving COVID-19 were tested and received a negative response.
The work in the “Isolated pulmonary / COVID” and “Temporary Isolation” departments was organized in a special protective uniform and other means of personal protection. Before entering these departments, the medical staff underwent a special training. The epidemiologist of the medical complex taught them the rules of occupational safety and preventive behavior.
This local victory over COVID-19 allowed “Arabkir” MC to reconsider its work.
From now on, nurses and paramedics working in special departments will be able to leave the department and spend the night at home, and doctors will continue their work in the medical complex as usual after the morning visit of COVID patients.
Getting medical help in an emergency costs a lot, but nothing can be more expensive than the health of patients and medical staff. COVID can only be overcome with professionalism and discipline.
