The Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Eduard Aghajanyan made a post on his Facebook page, which reads:

“Dear Compatriots,

It was a great pleasure to see your positive statutes on the 24 April events organized by the Armenian Government in quarantine conditions. It was a great honor for me to lead the working group that is the author of both substantive and organizational solutions to these events.

In the face of the uncertainty arising from the epidemic, the above-mentioned working group had its first session on 18 April. In fact, we had only 6 days, during which a huge amount of work was done, for which the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Ara Khzmalyan, the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Virabyan, the Director of the Public Relations and Information SNCO Hovhannes Movsisyan, the Head of the Communications Department of the HTI Ministry Arthur Avetisyan, who were involved in the day-to-day work that we all witnessed and for which they deserve special praise.

In addition the staff of the Public Television Company did an incredible job. This was a new and more meaningful approach to the commemoration of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide, which showed the world what a monstrous attempt to destroy civilization had taken place in the early 20th century. There is no alternative to establishing historical justice. We remember and demand.”
