Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan submitted a draft decision to the government for approval, which envisages changes in the amount of scholarships.
According to the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the amount of scholarships for LLM and LLD students with the current education is 30000 AMD, for natural sciences and other specialties – 25000 AMD, for economic and legal specialties – 20000 AMD, as well as 30000 AMD for doctoral students.
As a result of the changes proposed in the decision N 1403-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia of 29 November, 2007, the amount of scholarships given to postgraduate students will increase by 35,000 drams, making 65,000 drams for Armenological specialties, 60,000 drams for natural sciences and other specialties, economics and law. – 55000 AMD, as well as to the doctoral students – 65000 AMD.
