Gegharkunik Governor Gnel Sanosyan spoke about the situation in Vardenis during a live Facebook broadcast.

“At the moment we have 47 cases of confirmed coronavirus infection, all of them are in Vardenis. Twelve are hospital staff, one of whom is a doctor. There are 9 cases confirmed in the polyclinic, two of which are doctors. We have a problem to find out where the first infected person came from, the doctor with whom he had contact, so that we could understand where the source came from in Vardenis. ”

Gnel Sanosyan noted that the Vardenis polyclinic is not working now, the hotline has been informed by the telephone numbers of the polyclinic’s doctors so that citizens can call if necessary. The hospital is functioning partially, the ambulance department is fully operational, and patients will be transferred to Martuni Medical Center if necessary.
