Arayik Harutyunyan was born on 14 December, 1973 in the city of Stepanakert

1990-1994 – Studied at the Yerevan Institute of National Economy

1992 – Joined the ranks of the self-defense forces of the NKR and took an active part in the hostilities

1995 – Graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Artsakh State University

1996-1998 – Studied at the graduate school of Artsakh State University, specializing in economics

1995-1997 – Assistant Minister of Economy and Finance of the NKR

1997-1999 – Manager of the Askeran branch of OJSC “Armagrobank”

1999-2004 – Managing the Stepanakert branch of OJSC “Armagrobank”

2005-2006 – Co-chairman of the party “Free Motherland”

2005-2007 – Elected deputy of the National Assembly of the fourth convocation of the NKR from the Stepanakert constituency No 4, the Head of the Motherland faction, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Financial and Budgetary Affairs and Economic Management

2006-2007 – Executive Director of “Karabakh Gold” CJSC

September 14, 2007 – Appointed the NKR Prime Minister by NKR President’s decree

September 14, 2012 – Appointed the NKR Prime Minister by NKR President’s decree

2013 – Defended his thesis and became a Candidate of technical sciences

Since September 25, 2017 – State Minister of Artsakh Republic

Chairman of the party “Free Motherland”

Married, has three children

Awarded the order of the Battle Cross of the 2nd degree, the medal “Grigor Lusavorich” (August 30, 2016) and the medal “For the Liberation of Shushi” (08.05.2003).
