As of 8 April, 4 new cases of coronavirus disease have been registered in Ararat region. The total number of confirmed cases is 179 at the moment.

Governor of Ararat Garik Sargsyan reported.

“I learned with sorrow that another case of death was registered at “Artashat” Medical Center in the morning. The 80-year-old patient had coronavirus disease, severe pneumonia, complicated by respiratory distress syndrome. The man had concomitant chronic diseases, including arterial hypertension, cachexia, and senile sclerosis. He was from Ararat region.”
