Governor of Kotayk province Romanos Petrosyan issued a statement saying:

“Dear compatriots,

As you know, in Kotayk we also have confirmed cases of coronavirus infection.

Dear ones,

Reducing and preventing further spread of the infection is up to each of us.

Understanding personal responsibility and one’s own steps is crucial during this time, steps that depend not only on our health but also on the health and safety of the other.

Therefore, I once again urge you to strictly follow the instructions and restrictions set by the State of Emergency in the Republic.

I urge you to stay at home, to isolate yourself, to leave your home only when you need it, keeping with you the special form to keep all the rules of personal hygiene.

I would like to remind that Article 182.3 of the RA Code on Administrative Offenses provides liabllity for violating the rules of the legal regime of the state of emergency.

Violation of the rules of isolation or self-isolation provided for as a restriction or other restrictions on the right to move freely entails the imposition of a fine in the amount of 100-250 thousand AMD.
