“Mr. Minister, take this draft  back, take it back, because this is also the assessment of the majority of the MPs, which is a consequence of democracy. Now I don’t want to talk about human rights. I want to say that you are going to do senseless, meaningless work,” Naira Zohrabyan said in her address to the National Assembly today, speaking about the draft law on Amendments to the Law on Legal State of Emergency and the Law on Electronic Communication.

It is envisaged to have access to the data needed to determine the location of the service used by the customers receiving public electronic communications services (customer location), direct or indirect (intermediary) telephone numbers with the customer’s phone number, the date the telephone conversation began, the start and the end, and in case of forwarding or transferring a telephone call; the phone number to which the call was forwarded.
