Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, appointed in the state of emergency as the Commandant, on 24 March, signed a decision on restrictions on the activities of public authorities until March 31.
“Guided by Decree No. 298-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia” on Declaring a State of Emergency in the Republic of Armenia” dated March 16, 2020, until March 31, 20:59 at 23:59,
- Establish the following restrictions on the activities of public authorities:
1) Carry out the activities of all the public authorities of the Republic of Armenia in all possible cases remotely / online, while ensuring the smooth execution of body functions;
2) Prohibit the entry of employees into the administrative buildings of all public authorities unless there is a directive from the head of the body on individual employees;
3) Temporarily suspend the activities of the public administration and local government service offices and, if this is not possible, restrict their activities, substantially reducing working hours and staffing. Provide online services exclusively electronically, and if not possible, in case of urgent need;
4) To publish information on the existing telephone numbers, websites, e- mails and other means of communication of the authorities through their official posters, social networks and mass media to respond to the urgent needs of citizens.

Armenia (recommendation) to ensure the implementation of this decision; - To the Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia Eduard Martirosyan and the Chief of the Police of the Republic of Armenia Arman Sargsyan to ensure that the restrictions provided in this Decision are maintained;
- This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its publication.
